Merry Christmas
5x7 oil on prepared hardboard ready to frame.
Christmas is a time for memories. A time of childhood past. Christmas is a time when all the loved ones who can no longer be with you are close at heart and in you mind as you put the old decorations on the tree, some made by your children years ago and kept and packed away with love each season.

Walking on Egg Shells
Walking on Egg Shells
9x5
Oil on prepared Board
This is the 4th one in my egg series. I can remember gathering eggs as a little girl. I would carry them in a big wire basket back to the house. The basket was almost bigger than me. One day I found that if I swung the basket and spun around in a circle at the same time I could almost get it chest high. WOW good thing Mom never saw me, also a good thing I never let go. I used both hands. I still use both hands today when I paint. Oh well, entertainment back on the farm was easy. Most fun things are really easy if you just take the time to enjoy them.

Broken Egg 6x6 on stretched canvas. I keep in mind the basic elements that make an engaging painting and take a simple subject and find the beauty in it. The egg has reflection ans shine that is fascinating.

Three Red Apples (SOLD)
SOLD
Three Red Apples 6x6 oil on stretched canvas with painting going around the 1 1/2 inch sides. The only thing better than a big crisp red apples is three red apples. I often snack on fruit while I paint. I think that is why it ends up in so many of my still life paintings. I just have to remeber not to eat the still life.
