Corn Field No. 2
About This Painting: They are just starting to pick the corn in the field by my house. I am sure the dry weather hurt the corn crop this year. I was in a field a few weeks ago and I saw that in a field that had not been irrigated the ears were not full of corn kernels. Yield can be determined by the kernel rows on an ear of corn and the number of rows. This is the second painting of a corn field I have done in plien air.
