About This Painting: For me anytime I can hear the splash of waves and have a good book to read is a time that I have my own private sanctuary. This is a moment where time is just a word that means nothing because I am in a place in a moment where the world has moved on to some parallel universe that I am not a part of. I relax and enjoy my sanctuary under the umbrella with the waves splashing, the sand in my toes, and my good book.
