Hot Peppers

Do you want to add a little kick to your meal?

Chillies come in a variety of shapes and colors. They can be sweet or very hot.

It is the shapes and colors that intrigue me as an artist. I like the way they can twist around and cast shadows. I find the colors exciting and bold from dark blue black greens to light creamy yellows. If you cut them open the seed pods offer even more excitement and interest for painting.

For Whom the Bells Toll

Today I painted at O'Gracies' Studio 12 a local Michigan art gallery where I have some of my small daily paintings and also watercolors.

O Gracies is a sweet little stop on US 12 near the Michigan Speed Way. So if you are ever in the area on the way to a Nascar weekend stop in and say Hi to Gracie. I know she would love it.

A quick studio tour.

Then I set up to do a watercolor painting.

Moving everything a round to make room for my small watercolor set up.

I tape it doen and get to work.
