About This Painting:Then there was you, making those eyes. A little romance in my painting today. I thought for the next few days I would paint some figurative art.

On the Town

On The Town

About This Painting: I have been trying to do a least one figurative painting a week to build my skills. This is the one for this week. Dinner and a kiss, it always works for me.

The Game

I started with a basic sketch on a toned canvas.

I add some gray to the background.

I start to work on some of the base colors.

I work on the figure and the wine bottle.

I add a window to the background and more detail to the figure.
