Red Apples
About This Painting: I think that reds are one of the most difficult colors to paint with. I use a litmited pallet and to get those bright reds with out dulling them is a challenge.In this painting for my dark areas I use transparent red oxide. I used transparent Indian Yellow this keeps the apples bright and shinny and still lets the red show through.
