Reflections

Reflections

About This Painting: I used a palette knife on part of this painting.I put warm light colors in the background and deeper cooler colors near the foreground. The added texture gives the painting interest.

The Spirte of July

The Sprite of July

About This Painting:As arts  we are our own marketers. So we put on the hat of artist and then quick change it to do, everything we do—from the promotional artwork, to packing and shipping it, all the book keeping and the activities we conduct after the sale is done and the painting is shipped in an effort to lodge a strong, positive memory inside the head of the patron.

Memories influence future actions, and when we talk about getting people to “come back more often,” we’re really talking about causing that powerful memory of the last time to be "sticky" enough to get them to want to buy again. What kind of stick "come back to me memories are you creating? Sometime the artwork needs someone to speak for it.

Sail Away with Me

Sail Away With Me

About This Painting: I used a lot of impasto in this oil painting. I used a museum quality panel with canvas mounted on top as the support. It is always a good idea to paint on a panel when using heavy paint to make sure it doesn't crack later.
