A Good Read
About This Painting: I spent the day at my lake cottage. I like to get a cold drink or a cup of tea pull up a chair and a good book and relax by the lake. This day was spent mowing lawn and general spring cleaning so I will let my painting relax and read while I finish the odds and ends that must be done here before summer kick ins.

Summer Day
About This Painting:
When I was a kid back on the farm, we had no air conditioning. The best we could hope for was Mom putting an isolating fan in the window. The days were endless back then and the nights were hot with heat lighting in the distance. My legs would ach from growing so fast but the breeze from the fan kept the night cool in my room.
