Holy Cow where's the milk

Painting a Cow. I start the painting with a warm under painting and sketch the cow in with transparent  red oxide. If I don't get it just right I can take a paper towel and wipe it off. Step back have a glass of milk and think about it for a few more minutes






I paint in the back ground colors. and start adding some of the darker values.

Betsy the Cow is now finished.
